Steven Van Zandt, the peer mobster Silvio Daante, co-starred- starring Sirico in “The Sopranos,” tweeted that he was “legendary”. Michael Imperioli described Sirico as a “dear friend”, colleague and partner in crime. Tony Sirico was born in New York City on July 29, 1942. He was raised in Flatbush and Bensonhurst. He used to say proudly, “Every man was out for himself.” It was either a bullet hole or a tattoo.

He claimed that he was a multiple-time prisoner for felony offenses. He witnessed the presentation of a gang made up of ex-convicts during his brief stint in prison in the 1970s. Sirico was also given roles as gangsters in movies like “Dead Presidents” or “Deconstructing Harry”.

Woody Allen also produced several films, including “Bullets over Broadway” (and “Mighty Aphrodite”), as well as guest spots in television shows like “Miami Vice,” Family Guy”, and “American Dad! Sirico also had other family members: Sirico’s daughter Joanne Sirico Bello, his son Richard Sirico Bello and his catholic brother Robert Sirico.
